For the second half of 2013
Glamour Magazine "Women Of The Year" Award I was selected a week before that I would be brought over to the back green room by the stage to do makeup on a select group of celebrities. My escort came up to get me around 6:30pm to help bring me to my second location inside
Carnegie Hall. I was never told who I would be doing makeup on so I made sure my
L'OREAL Paris makeup vanity was well stock with a lot of my favorite items.
When I saw a few secret services and a staff entering thanks to Scandal TV show I knew the guest was someone in the political field. What I didn't know was it would be Mrs. Hillary Clinton walking through the door.
\
To get the makeup look that I gave Hillary Clinton here is the recipe of what I used. The makeup look I wanted to give Mrs. Clinton was a quick effortless makeup look. I wanted her skin to show, not aging her with heavy foundation. I mix
L'OREAL Paris RevitaLift Triple Power and
L'OREAL Paris Miracle Blur together on my palette. For her skin I wanted her to have a luminous look on stage so I selected
L'OREAL Paris Magic Lumi and
L'OREAL Paris True Match Lumi Foundation. Once again I mixed this cocktail together. With a large powder brush I dust her face with
L'OREAL Paris True Match Powder. On her eyes I selected
L'OREAL Paris HIP Matte Shadow Duo in
Dashing. I wanted the matte shade of the pink eye shadow to pop against her now luminous face. I then used
L'OREAL Paris Infallible Lacquer 24H liner in
Dark Slate. While still wet I apply the dark shade eye shadow on top of the Dark Slate liner from the Dashing duo to soften the liner. Also a quick way to give her color without going to trendy. With a blush brush I used
L'OREAL Paris True Match Blush in
Apricot Kiss to warm up her skin. On her lips I prep them with
L'OREAL Paris Colour Riche Lip Balm in
Caring Coral. With a lip brush I applied
L'OREAL Paris Colour Riche Lipstick in
Tropical Coral then topped it off with
L'OREAL Paris Colour Riche leGloss in
Saucy Mauve. A quick easy step to getting a polish makeup look.
