This morning photo shoot at Ceci New York started off with a challenge: RAIN and lots of it. But the show must go on and everybody made it on time. The look that Ceci came up with was called "Indian Dreams". CeCi sent over a inspiration visual board earlier in the week so I was excited because I love doing Indian weddings. I always love the jewels and strong bold colors from the sari. The bolder the colors the stronger the makeup on my Indian brdies.
The two talent of the day were CeCi Johnson & Reshma Shetty. Both ladies were getting two totally different makeup looks. I actually selected really bold eye colors for Ceci makeup and on Reshma I used traditional bollywood makeup colors (gold &red).
The photoshoot location was at the Spice Market New York
in the Meatpacking District. The ambiance was a perfect spot to shoot because of all the Southeast Asian decor. Bradley was very receptive about having us over and accommodate us throughout the shoot. I have never eaten at this restaurant but I'm sure to visit. The aroma of the food made it very hard to pay attention to what I was there for...makeup.
I was glad that hairstylist Melissa Paldino was on set with me...luv her. She gave Reshma hair volume and soft body waves. A great look for Reshma; very sexy, feminine, and effortless...
Can't wait to see the pics in about 3 weeks. Sorry I couldn't post pics of Reshma just yet but after her wedding in March and approval of the pictures I want to post of her from her team I'll be sure to share. What a blast today was minus the rain. I loved everything...clothes, the jewels, the hair, the makeup, the location, and the team.
